Dr. Noha Bakr Appointed Executive Director of the Cement Division at the Federation of Egyptian Industries.
The Cement Division of the Chamber of Building Materials at the Federation of Egyptian Industries announced that Dr. Noha Bakr was appointed as the Executive Director of the Division.
Dr. Noha Bakr, PhD in inter disciplinary field of International Relations, and International Organizations, has received a distinguished Alumni award from the American University in Cairo and National Defense University of Washington. Bakr has served in several senior positions like the Assistant to the Minister of International Cooperation, in charge of International Economic Cooperation with
Canada and the Americas.

On this occasion, Dr. Noha Bakr said: “I am proud and honored to be appointed the Executive Director of the Cement Division. Cement is one of the most strategic industries in Egypt. It plays a significant role in the constructions and real estate field, which is now witnessing a considerable leap, as one of the most important pillars of sustainable development”. She further added, that the division will join forces with all stakeholders to further develop the cement industry in Egypt and attract further investment opportunities.
Dr. Bakr has headed different Panels, as a speaker and participant in conferences, workshops, and programs, on the national, regional, and international level, lectured in various academic & industrial platforms.
The Cement Division was established in 2013 to develop cement production in Egypt. The division is a subsidiary of the Chamber of Building Materials at the Federation of Egyptian Industries. The division succeeded, since its foundation, to reach several resolutions that support the cement industry in Egypt, and work on enhancing the industry corporate social responsibility programs, in addition to focusing on the health and safety of those working in the industry and its surrounding, while following the technological developments in the industry, and the use of alternative fuels.
